I'm so excited! I’ve been accepted to run classes in Woodstock as a leader of a program called Tinkergarten. Have you heard of it? I really believe in the mission and the program and want to share this with as many families as I can.
Tinkergarten helps kids develop and grow through outdoor play-based learning activities. It’s based on the belief that independent exploration, well-designed play scenarios, and just the right guidance are the keys to kids developing a host of important capabilities.
To the kids, it’s a chance to get messy, solve mysteries, make friends and have fun. For us, it’s a chance to get together with like-minded parents and learn effective ways to play and learn with our kids.
I completed Tinkergarten’s intensive training program and have classes coming up this summer at Roseland Park. If you’re interested, here are the details and a sign up link for trial classes this June:
